South Beach is a really cool place on Treasure Island. One of the few Condo Hotel.

That is right, it is a condo but at the same time the property is run like a hotel. This has the big advantage that the buyer/ owners of this waterfront condo can make a lot of rental income that helps pay for the cost of owning a direct beachfront condo here in Treasure Island. South Beach was built in 2001 and has a total of 40 direct waterfront / beachfront condos.

Waterfront condos at the St. Pete Beach Yacht and Tennis Club, real estate prices down

Like everywhere else in Florida prices for waterfront homes and condos have gone down a lot. One of the properties that held up better than most others was the St. Pete Beach Yacht and Tennis club. This gated condo community consists of 4 waterfront buildings, the Weatherly, the Constellation, the Courageous and the Intrepid. Just recently these condos in St. Pete beach have taken a huge price hit.

One condo with great water views onto the Intracoastal Waterway about 1250 square feet on the 8^th floor sold for $245,000. Now just a few days later the market has reacted and there are  3 waterfront condos , all about the same size, 2 bedroom 2 bath that are listed for $240,000. If you were ever interested in the St. Pete Yacht and Tennis Club on Blind Pass road, this might be a very good time to do some more research and look at some of the units.
