Karen, there is a great condo complex right on the water about two minutes walking distance to Publix and 30 seconds to the beach

Yes, there should be a drop in the assessed value of most types real estate in Florida. This is a reflection of the economic times and the real estate market. However, if your counties officials continue to spend the money they usually spend, your mileage rate will increase by about the same percentage as assessed value drops. The net effect is the same taxes.
